Energy Systems Development developed a Control technology that includes the addition of a Rotary Uninterrupted Power Supply (RUPS) to the co-generation system. This Control technology allows the facility to transition from Utility power to Co-generation power or Diesel Power without the facility realizing the change in source.
This seamless transition is important in mission critical applications or in facilities at the end of distribution lines where power can fluctuate. In the past Diesel and Co-generation technology could not work in parallel and transition to island mode.
